Cabo San Lucas
Where the Pacific Ocean, Meets the Sea of Cortez

Lands End Cabo
Seahorse - Cabo
Cabo Sunset
This winter’s unprecedented rain fall, unusually stormy weather, and 120% snow pack in the Cascade mountains, and have all affected and somewhat decreased my ability to dive our local waters. The enormous fresh water infusion into Puget Sound is also negatively affecting the marine life. Fortunately, I’ve been working on, and getting caught up on a backlog of video work. A few weeks ago, I released ‘The Wreck of the Diamond Knot’. A piece that was three years in the making. This week I’m am releasing my first tropical dive video, ‘Cabo San Lucas, Where the Pacific Ocean Meets the Sea of Cortez’.

During some recent family vacations in Cabo, I’ve discovered there are excellent dive opportunities that exist there. Two of my favorite spots are less than ten minutes from the marina. Pelican Rock and North Wall, while very shallow upon entry, each include steep cliffs, massive canyons, and dramatic walls that quickly drop to depths of 3500 feet. This spectacular environment allows the varied and exotic life to flourish. Animals both large and small exist and comingle in the clear warm waters of the bay.

My video focuses on some of the beautiful life you may explore. Diving is possible pretty much year-round, although seasons will vary. My thanks to Manta Divers for their expert help and assistance. Kiki and his entire crew are outstanding.
