Underwater Events
The Pacific Northwest region is blessed with the most important estuary in the world. Puget Sound shorelines are blanketed with many vast sandy beaches, rocky coves, sea cliffs and an astonishing variety of underwater wildlife. Unfortunately, there are continually growing challenges. From humpback and gray whales, to two different species of orcas, to the tiny Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker, all are under tremendous stress. Too little of our wildlife is protected. We’re doing all we can to protect Puget Sound and the wildlife that lives here.
Our new research method has never before attempted anywhere in the world. Our underwater live streaming events bring the rarely seen world to the surface for research and study. Our highly specialized equipment and drones can travel to depths over 300 feet in our cold local waters. Our marine biologists, crew and volunteers bring the live streaming events to students, scientists and people all around the world. Anyone can interact with our live research taking place in real time.
We regularly complete many scientific experiments including:

We regularly complete many scientific experiments including:
- Identify, record and explain various species of underwater wildlife
- Measure salinity levels at various depths
- Record water temperatures at various depths
- Record winds, tides, currents
This week the Puget Sound Live Event Crew was conducting our groundbreaking, live streaming underwater research near Bainbridge Island. We were over 60' below the surface of China Wall at Blakely Rock. Rarely does anyone ever see this remarkably beautiful gem in Puget Sound, including scuba divers. We are the only researchers in the world able to bring this part of our deep, cold, green, and sometimes murky waters of Puget Sound into classrooms, laboratories, homes and offices.
If you would like to be part of, and interact live with our research team as we do our live streaming work, subscribe to our YouTube Channel and be notified the next time we are conducting a Live Event in Puget Sound Underwater.
