Research - Live Streaming Interactive
Underwater Events
The Pacific Northwest region is blessed with the most important estuary in the world. Puget Sound shorelines are blanketed with many vast sandy beaches, rocky coves, sea cliffs and an astonishing variety of underwater wildlife. Unfortunately, there are continually growing challenges. From humpback and gray whales, to two different species of orcas, to the tiny Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker, all are under tremendous stress. Too little of our wildlife is protected. We’re doing all we can to protect Puget Sound and the wildlife that lives here.
Our new research method has never before attempted anywhere in the world. Our underwater live streaming events bring the rarely seen world to the surface for research and study. Our highly specialized equipment and drones can travel to depths over 300 feet in our cold local waters. Our marine biologists, crew and volunteers bring the live streaming events to students, scientists and people all around the world. Anyone can interact with our live research taking place in real time.
We regularly complete other experiments:

We regularly complete other experiments:
- Measure salinity levels at various depths
- Record water temperatures at various depths
- Record winds, tides, currents
Below is the first ever broadcast in the world of live streaming, interactive underwater research event, not on closed circuit tv.
Many more will be conducted and uploaded as they become available.
