Wreck of the Diamond Knot

New Video Production:
The Wreck of the Diamond Knot

Lost at sea 70 years ago, this  insignificant freighter was hauling canned salmon from Alaska to Seattle. After that fateful night, the wreck would forever become an integral part of Northwest history.

I collected and utilized three years of my HD video clips and stunning still images to create my latest production. 'The Knot', as only those of us who've been to the wreck may refer to it, is one of the most advanced and dangerous dives in the entire Northwest.

In my video, I bring you down with me to 100 feet below the surface. Deep into the frigid and dangerous waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Descend into the depths and experience for yourself the dramatic scenery that few will ever visit. Observe amazing diverse and colorful life, completely covering and thriving in this unique environment.

Thank you. Although this wreck site might not be that of the HMS Erebus or Terror, it is equally significant in the history of the Salish Sea/Puget Sound history; I very much appreciated the opportunity of "virtually" visiting the site, viewing the accumulated flora & fauna ~
